Somehow I never manage to get it right...

This is what I wore yesterday for a dinner and movie date in Cambridge. Unfortunately I did not dress for the right weather as when we were walking home it was 5oC and I absolutely froze!! Having these kind of temperatures in October really makes me wonder about global warming... After catching the train back this morning I spent the rest of the day tucked up in bed with a cup of tea, hoping to catch my developing cold in its early stages.
Dress: Asos
Belt: Taken off a Mango dress from last season
Leopard print tights: M&S
I am also wearing flat black knee high boots from Dune.

However, the worst part of my trip was that I unfortunately managed to mistakenly take my bf's glasses with me back to London, and since he desperately needs them tomorrow I will be spending my entire Saturday on the train. To say that I am annoyed would be an understatement, but at least I will be well prepared with my thermals on this time!!

  9. Oh, Nat, anything for beauty, isn't it? :) I often wish the weather was a little bit more predictable over here because I too often choose all the wrong (weather-wise) clothes. Still, I bet you felt beautiful.
As for the cold - take 2000-3000mg of vitamin C today, basically, it's about 2-3 tablets. It works wonders and may help you. If you don't have vitamin C, then chop a whole lemon, with the skin and everything (if you have organic one, then it's perfect, if you don't, make sure to wash it properly as non-organic ones can be waxed), put chopped lemon in a mug, pour boiling water to cover and leave for 2-3 minutes, then add 1 tbsp honey (try to get manuka 10-15+ as it kills bacteria and viruses really well) and drink it while it's still hot.

And don't forget to drink plenty of fluids all day.

Hope you are going to feel comfy while travelling. At least it's sunny today.

    Take care.

  10. Thank you girlies for all your lovely comments. I just got back from my tedious trip. i do not think I am cut out to be a delivery girl ;).

I do feel a bit better today, though still kinda achey, like I have had a hard session in the gym, instead of sitting on a train for 5 hours..

@Little Rus Thank you so much, I shall try that!! My mum always makes me drink tea with lemon and honey when I am ill, especially as I am allergic to paracetamol which is in every single one of those over the counter cold and flu remedies. No lemsips for me, last time I had one my whole eye swelled up and it was not pretty. Going to go to Waitrose now to find some organic lemons! Hope you are well lovely xxx
