P&G's Beauty Recommended is launching a fantastic new app for beauty on the go. Featuring brands such as Olay, Pantene, Max Factor and Wella Professional it offers you a great range of insider beauty tips, trends, personal recommendations and even a tour of London's beauty hot spots!
The Beauty Recommended app is free to download and available on both Android and iOS platforms.
I rarely feature events on this blog, but when something makes an impression on me I can't wait to share it with my lovely readers! Last week I attended an event to mark the launch of this app and learn all about its key features.
What makes this app absolutely unique is that it integrates aspects of beauty and culture alike. For example, the app features three exclusively curated Beauty Spots - fun for Londoners and visitors alike. At the event we were treated to a sneak preview tour through the National Portrait Gallery 'The Eye of the Beholder', which took us through a 500 year journey of portraits of beauty from Tudor times to the 1940s. It was fascinating to learn about the different beauty trends throughout the ages and how the perception of beauty has changed! The app lets you take the tour and read the commentary about the selected portraits even if you can't make it to London. However, if you are able to come and see them for yourself the app will give you a guided tour!
Other features of the app include:
To win a set of tickets all you have to do is reside in the UK, be over 18 and leave a comment below letting me know your favourite beauty spot (anywhere in the world) with your e-mail address. Mine would be the Kyoto garden in Holland Park - a tranquil sanctuary in the heart of London and one of my favourite places to take an evening stroll.
The app goes live today so do check it out at www.beautyrecommended.co.uk and let me know what you think! xxx

ReplyDeleteHave you tried the new 'BeautyCraft' app for iOS? It teaches the user to make their own homemade beauty products using natural ingredients! I've downloaded it and I love it, can't recommend it enough. The Firming Grape Face Mask is GORGEOUS.
