  1. My tip would be to wet your hair and apply conditioner if you can before swimming in a pool to protect your locks from chlorine chemicals!

  3. My tip is to avoid using heat every day. Try to let your hair dry naturally some days :)

  4. My tip is togo allover more natural in the Summer. Let your hair dry naturally and avoid using straighteners/curlers as much as possible. Also use less products as they can weigh your hair down and make it greasier quicker in the summer.

  5. My tip is Morrocan Oil or/and velcro rollers. Both help in styling the hair and making it wearable with less heat. The oil cuts drying and straightening time by over a half for me. Meanwhile I can use the velcro rollers when I'm drying my hair naturally and it stops the hair from kinking, frizzing and puffing all over the place. I usually only put rollers on my notoriously unruly bits of hair.

  6. my best tip for summer is olive oil! I use it as a mask/treatment by putting it on my ends and leaving it in for half an hour, or I use a tiny tiny amount on my ends to control frizz in the humid weather!

  7. My tip is to look for products that don't contain sulphates as sulphates strip you hair of its natural oils. You may need to shock your hair into products without them, but once your hair gets used to it, it will be much less dry and easier to work with. I believe natural oils work so much better than any product you can throw in your hair. Also, for summer I recommend using as little products in hair as possible, because everything you put in ends up dripping on your face! Recipe for breakouts...

  8. My tip is to always use a hair spray that contains spf every time before you go out in the sun to protect your hair from the nasty sun. And of course, you should avoid using a lot of hot tool on your hair during the hot months, as hair can't take all this heat and will eventually start breaking!

  9. My summer hair tip for blondes is to use a tonifying shampoo that will restore the shimmer and shine after being in the sun, sea water, and chlorine. No one likes crunchy blonde hair!

  10. My summer hair tip for any hair type is to always let it dry naturally! Hair can dry out more in the summer and adding extra heat to the mix can dry it out more. If you love drying your hair with a hairdryer, try letting it dry naturally and apply some product to help your hair go wavy and rock some surfer girl locks.

  12. My hair gets very dry in hot weather so I usually condition it before I got to bed and wash it off the next morning.

  13. My tip is to use jasmine oil as an overnight hair treatment. I massage it into the scalp and apply evenly through the hair. Shampoo out the next morning and not only will your hair be very soft and silky but it will also smell delicious!

  14. My second tip is to use a dry shampoo like Batiste on alternate days. Summer sun tends to dry out hair more and combined with washing everyday can leave hair a little dry. I find using the dry shampoo allows my hair to retain some of it's natural oils and moisture in between washes :)

  15. My third tip (I know, I'm naughty!) is to help create a tousled beach look. Wash your hair in the evenings and go to bed with it about 80% dry. You will find that in the morning it is messy but totally beach sexy! I sometimes plait a few strands in the front to give it a bit of a hippy feel.

  16. MmmM my tip would have to if you have dyed hair before you go into a pool rub it in jasmiine oil it helps prevent the elements in the pool stripping your hair colour

  17. My tip for curly haired girls is to go natural. Straightening in the heat and humidity often just frizzes my hair up further, so I just let the curls be!

  18. use a bit of lemon juice to lighten your hair in the sun!

  19. Let your hair dry naturally and use a leave in conditioner to protect your hair from heat. x

  21. i love wavy beachy hair in the summer its so natural and easy to achieve. i simply do a french plat from one side of my face to the other (with oil already in it) and put in cocunut oil or a deep conditioner into my hair in the back while its wet, it dries lovely and its protected from the sun!!

  23. We touched on rejection and persistence last time, and now we are In particular if a model drops up and the shoot requires an urgent tankini swim suit.

  24. I actually just discovered a new summer hair secret weapon! It's Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Creme. One pump of this and my hair is frizz free and moisturized all day and then some. I highly, highly recommend it. :)

  25. I try to leave my hair to dry naturally a couple of times a week now and it has made a difference the the dry ends. Also use a warm oil on the ends a couple of times a month, I leave it on over night and wash out the next day, it stops the ends looking so dry.

  26. Use conditioner after every wash and use hot oil to really condition your hair once in a while.

  27. Love the go blonder range.

  28. Use a clarifying shampoo to strip all the grime , products , chlorine etc out . It leaves your hair really soft and shiny ... pantene is a good one ... and if going to the beach use a leave in conditioner such as Charles Worthington hair healer.

  29. My summer tip would be to use a good serum straight after washing if you have curly, brittle hair. It will keep it soft and smooth all day long.

  30. I'm a dirty blonde and need to try this to help with my colour, the only thing I dont need is for it to penetrate my brain as i'm blonde enough there!
A good trick is to use a little mayo when your out of deep conditioner, it leaves your hair beautifully shiny with out looking greasy.

  31. my hair is dull blonde and very dry. once a week a mix some olive oil and conditioner together and leave on my hair overnight. this leaves my hair in excellent condition with no dry ends

  32. I have fine hair so I would say only use conditioner once a week & prevent using other hair products wax,gel etc as sometimes it weighs it down more.

  33. My tip for summer is always use a leave in conditioner instead of the normal wash out one

  34. My fourth tip is a style and care tip in one! In Summer evenings I like to have lots of tousled curls tumbling down my back. However I worry that daytime sun dries hair out and am reluctant to add to that damage by adding heat via curling tongs. So during the day I suggest spritzing hair with a heat protectant spray, then twisting sections of hair and securing them via Bobby pins. The heat protector spray will add some defence from the sun and by the evening when the pins are taken out, you have a cascade of curls! :)

  35. If you are holidaying abroad I also advise having any hair cuts and dye jobs on your return. Often a few days of sunbathing can leave hair feeling wilted and it's better to save that long sought after bob for your return when you can spend time using deep conditioners to keep it shiny and healthy.

  36. My sixth tip (I love John frieda lol) is to prepare your hair for Summer sun a month or two in advance by eating a good multivitamin. Perfectil is a great one, as is hair sublim. Eating foods such as avocadoes and spinach can give hair a real oomph too. Iron rich and protein is the way to go! I am a big fan of conditioning treatments but must concede that nourishing from the inside is a better idea :)
